Here’s a few more taken for the Center for Invasive Species Research, www.cisr.ucr.edu I had to use the dreaded Helicon Focus program to get the depth of field I needed. After some practice, I think they turned out pretty good seeing it’s my first time.

Here are some pictures of the Goldspotted Oak Borer. It’s an insect that’s invading California’s natural Oak trees.
