At first glance, an Engagement session might seem unnecessary. After all, it’s only something else we have to make time for before the wedding – right? Well, not exactly. Personally, I love spending time together at the engagement shoot. It’s the best way to get to know each other before the wedding. You both get to see how I work as a photographer and I get to observe how both of you interact with each other. So when the wedding day arrives, it’s that much easier to create those magical wedding pictures we all want. Not only that, but it gives us the time to play around a little and be creative as without the stress of the wedding day. You could even consider it a practice session before the big day!

Session locations can range from most places in Southern California. Some popular locations include the beaches, mountains and so many places in between. I love shooting outdoors which highlights nature, but I'm open to whatever location that will make your session special for the two of you.
