Portland was an AWESOME city. Although, I was a little surprised on the variety of people living there. I mean no disrespect, but they seem a little odd. Really, they are very different from anywhere else I’ve visited. It’s hard to explain really. They seem very artsy and green of course. They also seem very liberal thinking – friendly in many ways but independent at the same time. There were tons of homeless people all over. Maybe more so than other big cities. I wonder if that has anything to do with with generous social services? In any case, there was just something :”about Portland that fell near and dear to my heart. I think if I could, I would move up here in a heart beat!
I wish I had time to take photos of all the crazy and beautiful bridges that stretched across the Columbia River, but we just didn’t have time :( I guess that’s a good reason to come back right?
This is the worlds smallest park – really! Mill Ends Park
EmBeautiful Mike! You all look like you are having a total blast. :)

Safe traveling!

MikeThe whole city is pretty artsy, so there is tons of stuff like this all over. These were for the ropes for some lines (like the ones at Disneyland) near one of the theaters. I dunno, they just seemed cool.
