Gotta love ’em for their bold and quirky treats. Voodoo donuts in Portland was certainly memorable. Monique got a bacon covered donut. That’s right. Real bacon. I was really tempted to get one of their 5 gallon buckets of day old donuts for only $6, if only to see the variety.

Ok, well maybe not the Oregon Trail – it’s a little more modern and it’s called the 5 freeway ;) Driving from Lassen to Portland is a long 450 miles. This is just one of the places we stopped. I do have to say though, I’m really starting to like Oregon. Like REALLY liking it!
