This was just a couple of quick shots of Nic out at Bella Vista. Watering vetch cover crops for her research projects take quite a while. It was one of those “pose for me and I’ll pose for you” deals. I needed some photos of “people working” for a website I’m putting together for Mark, and Nic needed photos of people working on her project (which I decline to post ;)

Monique and I have been bugging some of our good friends to let us take their pictures for a long time now. Finally they gave into the pressure and we set up a date. Its one thing photographing people you have never really met before, but something totally different with good friends. They kinda see through your cheap jokes cheesy ways to get them to laugh for the camera. But despite all that, I think Monique and I got some good shots and they we’re really happy with their photos.

I was a little worried going into this wedding since I had not met either of them before the wedding, but the whole day went really well – despite the rain that mostly cleared up right as we started shooting. The rest of the day was a breeze with a wild party for a reception! They were both a pleasure to photograph!
